Child Protection Policy

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people who take part in our programmes.


Our Child Protection Policy outlines the standards, procedures and responsibilities we follow to ensure every child is kept safe during our community outreach, physical activity and wellbeing sessions.

The policy includes:

Vulnerable Adults Policy

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare, rights and dignity of adults who may be at risk.
Our Vulnerable Adults Policy sets out the principles, responsibilities and procedures that guide our staff, freelancers and volunteers when working with adults who may be vulnerable due to age, disability, illness, mental health, social isolation or other circumstances.

This policy includes:

  • Definitions of adult safeguarding and types of abuse

  • Roles and responsibilities of staff, freelancers and volunteers

  • Reporting and recording procedures

  • Information sharing, confidentiality and consent

  • Safe working practices in community outreach settings

Health & Safety Policy

We are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants, staff, freelancers, volunteers and visitors involved in our community outreach activities.


Because we work across multiple community venues and outdoor settings, our Health & Safety Policy outlines how we assess risks, manage safe environments and promote responsible, safe practice in every location.

The policy covers:

  • Venue and outdoor environment safety

  • Lone working procedures for freelancers

  • Risk assessment processes

  • Weather-related activity safety

  • First aid, emergency arrangements and incident reporting
